Heritage of Excellence
East Africa University - Galkacyo Campus was established in 1999 with a vision to provide accessible, quality higher education to the people of Somalia. From humble beginnings with just three departments and 200 students, we have grown to become one of the region's leading educational institutions.
Through civil war and numerous challenges, our commitment to education has never faltered. Our resilience and dedication to academic excellence have enabled us to expand our programs and facilities, serving thousands of students from Somalia and neighboring countries.
Today, EAU Galkacyo stands as a testament to the power of education to transform lives and rebuild communities. We continue to evolve and adapt to meet the changing needs of our students and society.
